Day to Night Winged Eyeliner

Hello everyone 🙂

I wear black winged eyeliner almost (definitely) everyday as it’s the one look that I think really suits my eye shape and colour. So, when it comes to taking my day makeup look to a night out look, I’ve found a simple way to step up my already applied liner.

DAY

For during the day, I first use a nude eyeshadow base – such as the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (review here) – and then go in with the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner to create a medium-sized wing. Then I just top it off with Clinique High Impact Mascara.

NIGHT

To transition my look from day to night, I start by elongating my liner to create a more feline effect. Then, I use the Naked Basics Palette (review here) layering shades of brown to create definition in the crease and outer corner. I focus the darker brown on the very outer corner to create almost a wing effect.

It’s simple, but it can really change up your look.

What’s your day to night staple?
