Nivea Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin

When it comes to skincare, I prefer to keep things as simple and natural as possible. Overloading your skin with dozens of serums and creams, and attacking it with all kinds of scrubs and exfoliants when you’re young is one of the biggest mistakes people make these days.

It’s still important to take care of your skin, but it’s best to use a simple daily routine with trusted products. Enter Nivea.

Nivea has always been my favourite high street skincare brand when it comes to clean cut, natural products that are great for sensitive skin. The ingredients that they use are never harsh or abrasive on my very sensitive and dry skin, with no parabens, silicones or colourants, yet they still manage to revive my skin.

One product I hadn’t yet tried from their range was the Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream, which claims to provide ’24h soothing moisture’ and ‘enrich skin’s natural healthy glow’ with 95% natural ingredients. That’s a pretty impressive figure if you ask me.

The cream has a really fresh and clean chamomile scent that I just love in skincare products as it feels so refreshing on the skin. It’s quite rich and creamy so you only need a small amount, but it sinks into the skin seamlessly and provides a great base for makeup.

This has quickly become a staple product on my bathroom shelf as it has helped keep my dry skin at bay during these colder months (which I find a real struggle), and for only £5.35 you can’t really go wrong.

Sometimes, instead of splashing cash on a number of expensive serums and potions, it’s best to go back to basics and let your skin breath. So, another hit from Nivea! If you haven’t tried out their offering yet you are really missing out.
