Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer |Lipsticks & Biscuits

As we move into the summer months, I like to swap my heavier bases for more light-weight, glowy finishes. But when it comes to concealer, it’s hard to find the perfect balance between coverage and hydration, and I think Bourjois may have come very close to it…

The new Radiance Reveal Concealer claims to ‘conceal dark circles and imperfections whilst smoothing and hydrating for 24 hours’, and I have to say it lives up to it expectations pretty well.

It has a lightweight, easy to blend formula with just the right amount of coverage for under the eyes. Personally, I wouldn’t use this on blemishes as it’s more of a light-reflecting type of product, but for dark circles it works wonderfully. It also has a really nice, almost cooling effect which feels really pleasant – especially during the summer! And the scent is nice and fresh, but not too strong for those with sensitive skin.

As for the 24 hours claim – although this certainly won’t last a whole day, for a more hydrating concealer this does stay on pretty well. And it’s one of those formulas that’s easy to touch up and layer throughout the day if needed.

As well as the formula, I also really like the packaging. It may be difficult to photograph (haha, “blogger problems”), but the clean, simple design with a pop of pastel pink looks really pretty and modern. Plus the dinky size means it’s easy to fit into your makeup bag or even your handbag.

This has been my go-to concealer for the last few weeks, and I’m sure I’ll be using it everyday until it runs out. Finally a great hydrating concealer from the drugstore which actually has some decent coverage – dry skin girls rejoice!

  1. I totally agree with you on this, I love how hydrating this concealer is. It’s nice to see drugstore brands bringing out more hydrating concealers, rather than just thick cakey formulas.
