After a long and stressful week at Uni, on Saturday I decided to give myself the day off and headed into town with my camera (which doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should anymore!).
Luckily it was a beautiful sunny day for wandering around my favourite city, and I even found a new little vegan cafe which I’m already excited to go back to. Here are the photos I took, hope you enjoy!
After all that effort I put into taking photos (sense the sarcasm here) I felt that I deserved a little pick me up, and so head over to Green Park Station to try out a little cafe about which I’d seen a lot of buzz.
Beyond the Kale is vegetarian and vegan restaurant, with everything from freshly made smoothies and coffees, to delicious vegan cakes and a menu full of delicious main courses that I’m definitely going to try out next time.
As I was only there for a snack this time, I went for decaf latte and a slice of vegan banana bread, which the staff were kind enough to warm up for me and serve with some fresh banana (you can choose between that and some peanut butter!). The service was lovely, the food was delicious and I’m already itching to go back.
Next time you’re in Bath I’d definitely recommend heading here after a walk in Green Park – whether you’re vegan or not!
A bit of a random post for you today – a half photo diary/half cafe review wasn’t really what I was expecting to bash out but there we are. I hope you enjoyed this anyway! If anyone has any recommendations for independent cafes and restaurants in Bath, feel free to leave them below 🙂
