Hey there, I’m still here! Still in Madrid, still struggling through the heat and still taking photos.
I’m so grateful that coming here has reawakened my interest in photography, and one thing that really sparked it was visiting the Palacio de Cibeles – also known as the Palacio de Comunicaciones.
As well as being home to the CentroCentro cultural centre of Madrid, with a number of different exhibitions available, you can also pay just 2€ for the Mirador Madrid – which lets you go up to the roof of the palace where you’ll find a stunning view of the Plaza de Cibeles up to the famous Metropolis building. It really is a breathtaking sight, and provides the perfect scenery for some really great photos – and holiday selfies, if that’s more your thing…
If you get the chance next time you’re in the Spanish capital, definitely pay the Palacio de Cibeles a visit just for the view alone. Madrid really is a joy to photograph!
Hope you’re all having a great week,
