After a long and stressful week at Uni, on Saturday I decided to give myself the day off and headed into town with my camera (which doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should anymore!).
In my last post I shared some photos from Lew and I’s trip to London last Thursday – you can catch up here if you missed it! – and I also promised you a review of where we went for food, so here we go…
As I’m typing this my house literally feels like the depths of hell – we’re currently having a ‘mini heatwave’ here in the UK and none of us are dealing with it well at all. I just can’t cope with hot weather – I’ve already spent half the day stood in front of the freezer!
Breakfast is easily my favourite meal of the day. When I have the time I love whipping up some banana pancakes for my family, or if alone treating myself to poached egg on toast. But sometimes, I need something quicker and easier but just as delicious.
This isn’t the usual post for me, but I’m still feeling so happy after yesterday that I just had to share it.
I think these are the best thing I’ve ever baked. I took eight of these bad boys to my boyfriend’s house last night and they were gone by 9 o’clock – I was even asked if they were from Greggs (not to blow my own trumpet or anything!) So clearly these are a crowd-pleaser…
Last week my boyfriend and I decided to go on a spontaneous date night, and happened to choose a newly opened restaurant only three doors down from his house – Ashley’s on the Forge.
